Combine fire doused by Kinistino Fire Department

The Kinistino Fire Department responded to a combine fire Wednesday afternoon.

Crews were called to the fire in the RM of Invergordon, and the machine was already in flames by the time they arrived.

The operator managed to get out of the combine and tried to put out the fire with an extinguisher.

The department said a farmer was on scene and set up a fire guard by using a tandem disc.
