Klimosko to coach hometown Humboldt Broncos
Brayden Klimosko has agreed to join the Humboldt Broncos as their new head coach and general manager.
The long-time head coach of the Battlefords North Stars agreed to take over the position of his hometown team, following Scott Barney’s departure to the OHL.
“Humboldt is home for me, so I’m just excited to be back there,” Klimosko told northeastNOW. “It’s big shoes to fill for the Broncos, Barney has done a great job there. We have a lot of similarities in the way we coach and treat our players, so I’m just trying to mirror what he was able to do here.”
Klimosko brings in plenty of his own successes, achieving 199 regular season wins with the North Stars, two SJHL Championships, and a National silver medal.
