The Tisdale Trojans continue to roll.

They have now won eight straight games after a pair of weekend wins over the Estevan Great North Bears.

The Trojans started it off with a 6-2 win at the RECPlex on Saturday.

Pryce Thiessen and Carter Geysen each had a pair of goals for the Trojans, while Sean Shiels and Justin Whitrow also scored for Tisdale.

Thiessen, Geysen, and Shiels all had three points for the home team, and Jackson Dunn made 27 saves to earn the win.

In the second game, the Trojans used four second-period goals to earn a 5-4 comeback victory over the Bears.

Estevan stormed out to a 3-0 lead before Carter Geysen made it 3-1 heading into the second.

Four unanswered goals in the second for the Trojans to give them a 5-3 lead after two.

Eric Han scored twice in the period, with Jacob Tait and Geysen, with his second, netting the other Tisdale goal.

Estevan scored once in the third, but it wasn’t enough.

Jackson Dunn made 27 saves in relief of Wyatt Fleishhacker to earn the victory.

The 10-5-5 Trojans are off until the weekend, when they travel to Saskatoon to face the Contacts Friday and Saturday.
