Mustangs acquire defenceman from AJHL

The Melfort Mustangs continue to make moves to bolster their roster.

They have acquired 2007-born defenceman Jason Walia from the Fort McMurray Oil Barons of the AJHL for a Player Development Fee (PDF).

Walia, who is 5-11 and 175 pounds, has three assists in seven games this season for Fort Mac, along with 23 penalty minutes.

The Mustangs are 6-4-0-2 on the season and will return to action Friday night in Warman.
