Mustangs make two deals

The Melfort Mustangs have swung a deal with the Kindersley Klippers.

They have traded 19-year-old forward Bryson Aikens to the Klippers in exchange for 20-year-old defenceman Austin Osiowy and 18-year-old Prince Albert native Kelan Simmonds.

Aikens was fifth in scoring for the Mustangs on the season with 13 points in 19 games.

Osiowy has 11 points in 23 games this season, while Simmonds has played 12 games as a rookie, with no points so far.

The Mustangs also sent defenseman Jason Walia to Humboldt for a Player Development Fee (PDF).
