Busy weekend for Trojans, Thunder, Wolfpack

Local teams in the Northeast will be keeping busy on the ice this weekend.

The Tisdale Trojans are set to play a pair of home games against the Estevan Innovex Bears Friday and Saturday.

The Trojans are 7-11-1-0 (W-L-OTL-SOL) but have played just six games at the RECplex, where they are 4-2 this season.

Tisdale’s coming off a pair of losses in Regina last weekend.

Puck drop Friday night is at 7:30, and the Saturday game begins at 2 p.m.

The Carrot River Outback Thunder also have a pair of games in PJHL action this weekend.

They host Moosomin at Kearns Arena Friday night at 7:30, before heading to Martensville for a game Saturday night, also with a 7:30 start.

Carrot River is 8-8-0-1 so far this season.

The North East U18 AA Wolfpack are back in action on Sunday.

They will host the Parkland Elks at 4 p.m. at the Centennial Arena in Nipawin.

The Wolfpack is 5-7-0-0 in their first dozen games.
