Estonian university student touring the northeast, selling educational books
A university student from Estonia is spending his summer abroad, touring northeast Saskatchewan for a total of four months.
Mart Kirotar, also known as ‘Mart the Bookman from Europe ‘, is living and travelling across the area, selling educational products to fund his university studies in Estonia.
“Since it’s my first time here, I’m just super stoked and excited to be here, especially because everybody’s so, so friendly up here in the north. My last two summers have been in Texas, so it’s a really cool thing to come to Canada now as well because I get to learn so much about different types of people, and I get to help a lot of families with their education too,” Kirotar told northeastNOW.
“I just hope to see and meet lots of people, and I hope they are home when I knock. I hope people are kind of straightforward. If they don’t like it, they can just tell me straight away, so it saves me time, and I save them time. I also hope if they like it, they just tell me straight away, and then we can go from there. Fast and efficient, go through as many families as I can see and have lots of fun.”
