Miller returns to Broncos, named captain for 2026/27 campaign
The Humboldt Broncos have their new captain.
Following a late-season championship stint with the Flin Flon Bombers, forward Connor Miller has returned to Humboldt to lead the Broncos in his final season of Junior A.
“We told him when he was getting moved to Flin Flon that he’d be our captain when he returned. He’s the obvious choice in a lot of areas, one of which is knowing that he’s been through the grind of what it takes to win, so hopefully, now he can lead our guys to do the same thing,” said Head Coach and GM Brayden Klimosko.
“At the end of the day, he’s lived through it, and our other guys haven’t really. He can be the guy that we lean on, and he can be the guy telling us every day about how they did it. You can’t argue with guys who win, so I definitely think that’s something we could use to our advantage for sure.”
