Residents asked to avoid two areas in Melfort with increased police presence

Residents may notice an increased police presence in the City of Melfort this morning at two different locations.
According to a release from Melfort RCMP, Mounties executed a search warrant at 5 a.m. on the 100 block of Broadway Ave. and on the 200 block of Stovel Ave. East.
RCMP are asking residents in those areas to follow the direction of officers at the scene or avoid the area until the operation is concluded.
