Doell commits to career after Mustangs
The Melfort Mustangs have announced that 2001-born forward Nolan Doell has committed to the Red Deer Polytechnic Kings for post-secondary hockey.
Doell is a veteran of over 100 Junior A games between the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) and SJHL. Doell has played 19 games in a Mustangs uniform after being traded to Melfort on November 23, 2022 from the La Ronge Ice Wolves. He has scored 11 goals and has added eight assists for 19 points.
In a press release sent to northeastnow by the Mustangs organization, Doell shared his thoughts on his plans after his Mustangs and SJHL tenure comes to completion.
“I am very proud to sign with such a great organization,” Doell said. “I am very excited to start my future there.”
