Naicam man missing, police asking for public’s help

Police are requesting public’s assistance in locating a missing man.

A release sent out by Melfort RCMP on Monday, May 13 said Charles Butler-Grace, 63, left from his residence in Naicam on the morning of Friday, May 10, and was believed to be hitchhiking toward Saskatoon.

Const. Lorne Burles of the Melfort RCMP told northeastNOW that Butler-Grace is not criminally wanted or considered a public threat, but police are concerned for his safety. Burles said Butler-Grace’s family haven’t been able to contact him and he does not carry a cellphone.

Butler-Grace is approximately 5’11” with green eyes. He was last seen wearing a brown jacket, black hat, and carrying a black guitar case in the Humboldt area on Highway 5.
