Wynyard women wins $100,000 on Poker Lotto ticket

A Wynyard woman was a two-time winner on a Poker Lotto ticket in late January, landing $100,002.

Hae-Kyoung Park purchased the ticket for the Jan. 17 draw and instantly became a $2 winner; she then learned her Saskatchewan Lotteries ticket netted her another $100,000.

She said it was hard to get her mind around the massive win at first.

“When I scanned my ticket, I thought the screen was playing an advertisement for Poker Lotto. I realized the screen was actually telling me I won,” Park said.

Park bought the ticket at the Wynyard Esso. Over 12,000 sport, culture, and community groups across Saskatchewan are funded with proceeds of lottery ticket sales.
