St. Brieux Emergency Services were kept busy with a stubborn fire west of the community.
The initial call came in on Thursday, and crews were forced to return to the scene Friday afternoon to battle a flare-up.
They remained there on and off for the next 24 hours, as high temperatures and strong winds made the blaze difficult to control.
