Two people nominated for vacant Carrot River council position

D. Scott Debienne and Dylan Borody have officially been nominated to replace former councillor, Chris Bergen on Carrot River Town Council.

The successful candidate in the upcoming byelection will serve approximately 17 months in the role.

Advance voting is scheduled for June 24, running from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Election day is set for July 8, with polls open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Both advance and regular voting will take place at the Carrot River Town Office.

The election results are expected to be declared at or around 10 p.m. on July 8.
