Tisdale introducing infrastructure fees attached to utility bills
Tisdale has introduced an infrastructure fee for its residents.
The town said the fee is necessary “to help fund future maintenance, repair, and replacement of the community’s water and sewer systems.” The fee will appear as a separate entry on each bi-monthly utility bill and does not change depending on water usage.
This year’s fee per bill is $20, with it increasing by $10 incrementally to $60 per bill by the end of 2030.
“There are no particular projects set [for the fee to go toward],” Chief Administrative Officer Lovely Magnaye said. “This will be discussed during annual budget deliberations.”
