Two-vehicle crash on Melfort’s west side Friday

Emergency personnel responded to a two vehicle collision just west of Melfort Friday.

The Melfort Fire Department responded to the crash at the intersection of Highways 3 and 41 shortly before 5 p.m.

The lone occupant of one vehicle was able to get out on their own, while in the other vehicle one person escaped the vehicle while another was extracted using the Jaws of Life.

The patients were loaded into the ambulance, and their condition is unknown.
