Mustangs commit another Winnipeg Wild

The Melfort Mustangs have committed another future piece for the upcoming season, doing so from a familiar location.

Winnipeg Wild U18 AAA defenceman, Connor Zuk, will be joining the Mustangs for the 2026/27 campaign. Zuk is the second commitment from the Wild for Melfort this year, after Jack Ross, back in March.

Both Zuk and Ross will be joining a Stangs squad that already featured another former member of the Wild this past season, in rookie defenceman Carter Bilous.

Zuk, a Winnipeg, Manitoba native, has spent the past five years climbing the levels of his hometown organization.
