SaskCyberParks: Get Crafty!

Are you ready to explore the outdoors? Create your own binoculars following the steps outlined below and see what you can find in your own backyard!

Supplies:
1. 2 toilet paper rolls
2. Construction paper
3. Masking tape
4. Yarn
5. Scissors
6. Hole punch (optional)
7. Any extra supplies to decorate. Remember, Get Crafty!

Directions:
• Step 1: Start with 2 toilet paper rolls
• Step 2: Tape them together using masking tape
• Step 3: Prep to wrap construction paper. Cut to length of the toilet paper rolls
• Step 4: Decorate the construction paper as you wish. Wrap construction paper around the two toilet paper rolls
• Step 5: Punch a hole on the outside of both toilet paper rolls
• Step 6: Attach the yarn through the holes
• Step 7: You are complete! Feel free to add any finishing touches
• Step 8: Take your binoculars and explore the outdoor environment through your new viewing lens
