Oct 14, 2020 | 3:06 PM
The Northern Inter-Tribal Health Authority has declared a COVID-19 outbreak at the Red Earth Cree Nation.
Public health said in a release that individuals that have tested positive were at a wedding event at Natimeek, Red Earth on October 9.
They’re asking anyone who was at that event to self-isolate if they have had or currently have symptoms of the virus and to call 811.
On Wednesday, Oct. 14, seven new cases were announced in the North East 1 sub-region, which includes Red Earth Cree Nation, but it’s not known how many of those cases are connected to the outbreak.
