Humboldt RCMP investigating suspected assault in Middle Lake

Humboldt RCMP are seeking assistance with a suspected assault in Middle Lake.

Officers received a complaint on Aug. 28 about the incident in the community north of Humboldt.

On Aug. 22 between 10 p.m. and 11:30 p.m., a 43 year-old man was walking near the 400 block of Centre Street where he was allegedly assaulted.

He was transported to hospital in Humboldt and was treated for his injuries and was released later that day. The investigation to determine who assaulted the man or how he sustained injuries continues.

RCMP are asking anyone that may have any information or exterior video of the event that may assist them in their investigation to report it.
