UPDATE: RCMP seek man charged in connection with missing woman investigation

Update: July 13, 11:35 a.m. 

Saskatchewan RCMP are asking the public to report sightings of and information on the whereabouts of 31-year-old Kevin Ross Watt. 

Watt is charged with kidnapping with a firearm and failure to comply after further investigation into the whereabouts of 30-year-old Nikita Sim. She has not been found; efforts continue to find her and confirm her safety. 

Watt is described as 5-11 and 198 pounds, with blue eyes and short brown hair. He may be driving a grey 2009 Chevrolet Impala with Sask. license plate 402 NRJ. The car has a damaged windshield and front bumper. 

Currently his direction of travel is unknown. Watt is known to travel in the Loon Lake, Lloydminster, St. Walburg and Maidstone areas. 

RCMP say they are unable to provide additional information about the investigation at this time. Updates will be provided when available. If an imminent risk to public safety is identified, RCMP say they will notify the public. 

Anyone who sees Watt is asked not to approach him. Report all sightings and information about the whereabouts of Watt and Sim to local police at 310-RCMP. Information can also be submitted anonymously to Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or www.saskcrimestoppers.com

Saskatchewan RCMP is seeking public assistance locating 30-year-old Nikita Sim, who was potentially abducted in the Loon Lake area.

Sim was reportedly taken from a residence near Makwa Lake at approximately 12:45 a.m. Monday. Police said they’re trying to locate her to confirm her safety. 

She may be travelling with a man in a grey 2009 Chevrolet Impala with SK license plate 402 NRJ. The car has a damaged windshield and damage to the front bumper. The direction of travel is unknown.

 Saskatchewan RCMP’s Battlefords Serious Crimes Unit is investigating and said it was unable to provide additional information about the investigation at this timem but updates will be provided when available.
