A high honour for a local coach.

Blevins has led the Mustangs to two consecutive SJHL titles and back-to-back Centennial Cup appearances.

He also won the Darcy Haugan/Mark Cross CJHL Coach of the Year award in 2024.

The Melfort product has been Melfort’s bench boss for the past 13 seasons and has also served as general manager since 2020.

Carter Hansen of the Humboldt Broncos was also named the video coach for Canada West.

Bruce Richardson of the Valleyfield Braves of the LHJAAAQ will coach Canada East.

“We extend our utmost recognition to those who have earned the opportunity to represent Canada on the respective coaching staffs and director of operations roles at this year’s Junior A World Challenge in Trois-Rivières,” said CJHL president Andy Harkness. “It is a well-deserved honour to have a pivotal part in such a prestigious event.”
