City of Melfort looking for proposals to run Northern Lights Palace concession
The City of Melfort has put out a request for proposals to gauge interest on operating the concession at the Northern Lights Palace.
“We sent that out to the public thinking there could be an entrepreneurial person out there that would love to be involved in something like this and see it as a great opportunity,” Director of Community Development and Planning Brent Lutz said.
The incumbent operators have been there in the Palace for about three years now, but the contract is expiring and Lutz said they decided to put out a request for proposals because they hadn’t done so for a while, and it was time to see what was out there.
“We want to see who is out there and what ideas they have to make the concession services at the palace as good as they can be,” Lutz said.
