Wapiti Valley Ski Hill not opening this season

As ski hills across the province make efforts to open for the season, Wapiti Ski Hill north of Melfort has announced they won’t be opening at all.
In a Facebook post earlier this week, it was indicated that an update would be provided on plans moving forward as some restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic for ski facilities had changed.
On Wednesday, a statement was posted stating the facility would not be operating in the 2020-2021 season.
The ski facility office will be open on Dec. 28 in an effort to refund any season passes that have been previously purchased or to roll them over to next season.
